Interior Walls Are Going Up at The Villas at Turnbow
August is here, and the Texas heat isn’t slowing us down. Our crews have been hard at work, and we’re excited to share what’s happening at The Villas at Turnbow, plus a few tips to help you beat the heat.
01 — Project UPDATE
Turnbow Phase 2: Taking Shape
Interior Framing (In Progress)
There’s a moment in every build when you can finally start to picture life inside the home, and that moment is happening now at The Villas at Turnbow.
Our framing crew has been hard at work, turning the floor plan into something you can actually see and walk through.
Interior walls are going up, and spaces that once existed only as lines on paper are becoming bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, and living areas. The build is moving right along, and we’re continuing to push toward completion.
02 — What’s Next
The Finishing Touches Begin
With the structure taking shape, the homes are getting ready for their next transformation: exterior paint, tile, and flooring.
Soon, the exterior will take on its finished look as fresh paint brings the homes to life. Inside, tile and flooring will begin turning open spaces into warm, inviting rooms.
Our crews are preparing for these next milestones, with each new finish bringing us one step closer to the final reveal.
WHAT’S AHEAD
From here, the focus shifts to the details that make a house feel complete: fixtures, trim work, and final finishes. There’s still work to be done, but the finish line is getting closer with every passing week.
We’ll keep you along for the journey and share more progress in next month’s update.

Did You Know?
Your roof surface can reach over 150°F on a summer afternoon. That’s why proper attic ventilation and insulation aren’t luxuries — they’re essentials. Well-ventilated attics can reduce cooling costs by up to 30%.
04 — HOMEOWNER TIPS
Beating the August Heat
Whether you’re already in your home or waiting on your build, here are a few ways to stay cool and protect your investment this month:
1. Change Your HVAC Filters. Swap them out every 30–60 days during peak summer.
2. Seal the Gaps. Check weatherstripping around doors and windows.
3. Smart Thermostat Settings. Set your thermostat to 78°F when you’re home and 85°F when you’re away. Every degree below 78 increases your energy bill by 6–8%.
4. Watch for Heat Damage. Dry soil pulling away from your foundation? Cracking caulk around windows? These are signs of heat stress. Water your foundation perimeter during extended dry spells and recaulk as needed before fall.
